Most good institutes now offer both classroom and live-online training. The content is usually the same; what changes is how you learn it. Here is how to choose.
What “live online” actually means
It is not a set of recorded videos. It is the same instructor teaching the same batch at the same time, over video, with screen sharing, doubt-clearing and assignments — usually with recordings available for revision.
When classroom wins
- You learn better with a fixed schedule and fewer distractions.
- You want hands-on lab machines and to look over a trainer’s shoulder.
- You value meeting peers and building a local network.
- You are a fresher who benefits from the discipline of showing up.
When online wins
- You are working and can only study early mornings, evenings or weekends.
- You are not near the centre, or you travel.
- You want to re-watch difficult sessions before an assessment.
Hybrid is fine too
Many learners attend online on busy weeks and come to the centre for lab-heavy sessions or project reviews. Ask whether switching between modes is allowed.
Questions to ask any institute
- Are online sessions live with the same trainer, or pre-recorded?
- Do I get lab access and software for practice?
- Are sessions recorded for revision?
- Is placement support the same for both modes?
